zoooom! through the fallopian tubes
Today at my internship I had the privilege and honor of logging one of the funniest pieces of video I've ever seen... home movies of a four year old child genius, in all his cute squeaky-kid-voice glory, explaining "where I came from" in exquisite detail.
He started off with, "When I was about to be made, the sperm worked its way through the outer layer of the egg..." gleefully explained "And then the sperm shoots the genetic material into the egg really fast, like an explosion!" and eventually moved on to "Then the egg attaches itself to the mother's uterus..." before describing the process of cell division. Eventually he pulled out his where-babies-come-from book and started pointing out pictures. Highlights from that are, "Look at that fetus! Look at that fetus! Look at that fetus!" and "That placenta is so big!" and lets not forget "What is that fetus thinking about? Probably about being born!" to name very few.
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears I wouldn't have believed the kind of detail this kid went into, and how funny it sounded in his four year old voice. I wish there was some to post the video of it here, but that's just not possible. Sorry!
