refugees from nyu
For the past few weeks there have been all kinds of refugees from NYU camped out on the sidewalk in front of my internship on Tuesday mornings. Some have kids, some have pets, most have something to read, some have hand held video game systems, some have food, most have chairs or blankets, and some are fast asleep on the sidewalk. I have no idea what they're doing there, but they go at least a block in each direction, and they're usually gone by early afternoon.
Only in NYC would you find refugees from a local university who are within walking distance of their homes sleeping on the sidewalk like bums.
