I'm a religious guy, and I try to be fair to people of other religious backgrounds, partly because it's the right thing to do, and partly because I'm often confronted with criticism for my own beliefs (like the scathing one i ran across this morning on another blog).

I mention this because for work today I'm editing a religious (non-wedding) ceremony that I shot a few weeks ago. For the most part the proceedings were very standard for this particular religion, but there was one thing that amused me. During the homily/sermon which was given, Napoleon Bonaparte was cited as a pious person from who's good example we can learn an important lesson on developing a stronger relationship with God.
