The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Or The Chronicles of Narnia: Teenage Angst -vs- Adult Cynicism.
This movie, just like the last one, was entertaining at the time, and quickly forgotten. I know that they're trying to be Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter all rolled into one, but it just isn't there. The character development in the peripheral characters is not that bad, but the main characters are flat. The storyline had moments when you cared what was going on, but it wasn't engaging throughout.
There was one thing in this movie that overshadowed a lot of the action for me. I was deathly afraid that college-looking Prince Caspian would end up smooching jr high-looking Susan. Ewww.
If I had to sum this movie up in one phrase I'd say that it's as good as its CG animals are realistic.
high points: Dear Little Friend, Narnian Air Force, Mouse... in boots!
low points: Peter who? Why is Spain picking on Middle Earth?
