in memory of teek
| I went to clean my pet mouse's cage last night, only to discover that she was dead. She loved to run in her wheel, and I'd like to think that she died in her sleep shortly after an invigorating run. Mice are traditionally thought of as food for snakes, or disposable creatures for scientific experimentation. Not little Teek... she was full of life and spunk. Whether tearing apart a toilet paper tube in order to re-floor her birdhouse, or chowing down on sunflower seeds, Tiki (as the wife once affectionately called her) always had something fun going on.
