my purpose

So, this isn't the first time I've tried to keep a blog. A few years ago a friend talked me into starting one, but it only lasted for about a week before I realized just how boring I am, and how much time that took to write about.

These days I work from home, and am always looking for ways to keep mildly distracted so I don't burn myself by lunchtime each day. I have no idea what I plan to write about, but I have a theory that if I spend a little time writing each day, maybe I can reverse the trend of my dropping IQ that living in NJ and working in the wedding industry has afflicted me with.

I don't have anything profound to say, and I'm not delusional enough to believe that anyone aside from the occasional bored friend trying to kill some time will ever read any of this. My purpose here is purely selfish, and I hope that in keeping this blog I'll stay well mildly distracted, regain my floundering IQ, and (if all goes well) score a job as a real movie critic (since i'll be reviewing every movie i see).
